Apricot Kernels are simply the edible seeds of apricots. A close relative to the almond, they have a sweet, nutty flavor with a hint of amaretto. Apricot Kernels also have healthy plant fats, protein and iron.

Our raw, certified organic Sweet Apricot Kernels originate from wild apricot trees that have never come into contact with any sort of pesticide, herbicide or synthetic fertilizer.

The apricots are harvested gently by hand, then the kernels are removed and slowly sun-dried. Our farmers pride themselves on cultivating the highest quality kernels possible while maintaining sustainable agricultural practices.

 

SUGGESTED USE & INDICATIONS

Enjoy out of the bag, in a smoothie or trail mix, dipped in honey, or ground and sprinkled on a salad.

RECIPE IDEA - Blast Off Smoothie

Here’s a creamy, chocolaty smoothie that will take care of that with one essential ingredient – apricot kernels, a close relative to the almond that has a nutty flavor with a hit of amaretto. It’s super energizing, easy to make, and delicious!

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz Almond Milk
  • 5 Apricot Kernels
  • 1 tbsp Cacao Powder
  • 1 whole banana

Directions:

  • Combine all ingredients in a high speed blender. Blend for 20 to 30 seconds. Enjoy!
